Around 10000 people (sikhs) killed out side punjab and endless \spent'' inside the punjab ,this led to the people to leave punjab for safer pastures of west and foriegn counteries.this, also serving the end, that the carnage was organized for very few among the current leadership is worried about the plight of the people left behind after the genocide.It is universal ,that women and childern after every big rioting are the main herds left behind to suffer, many women were forced into selling themselves for feeding their childern or to remain alive were forced to compromise among many problems. Rehablitation was few and far ,it came only as long as the issue was raw and all that so called well wishers did was ......lip service. who is responsible for this 1. we were born out of the womb of hindus and muslims those who chose to follow Dashampita Sri guru Govind Singh sahib,we were so respected that the elder child of a hindu family was made a Sikh then how come we were admonished to be burnt alive with tyres and families after families served to fire roosting alive women raped ,kesh -savaged how come,? what and where did it went wrong? Who were the people responsible for this happening? 2.now the second question that haunts me the most -what next? What is the future of this small sect ? What nuisense is being fed to people of punjab by this akali leadership?... either congressess or akali who so ever is being falsely penalized is basically a sikh youth nobody cares! Who in today scenario seems to be capable of leading and holding this sect together? NO one here is clean and above greed and any body who tends to stand for a cause is easily lured into financial windfalls without his or her knowing is entangled so soon that the main reason for crusade is forgotten. I am worried very worried .........finding no ans. am frustrated. Can only pray to the almighty for better sense to prevail . s Jarnail singh ji ,

I think you should contest in the dsgmc seva, so you can do seva for the delhi sikh gurdwara management committee, and not let it be run by politicians. Right now all committees are run by politicians and not sevadars, which is the problem. I think you should do seva for Delhi Gurdwaras and will have a lot of say once on a committee. I think the sangat should unanimously support a sevadar and stick behind them! Your book in Gurmukhi script is one of its kind with the indivisuals narration about the pain they are suffering till date. And of course the sponsered "katleyam" which is way different from what is known as "roits". I have finished about half of the book and will be contacting you once i fully read it. With every unactioned mob violence, the guilty go scott free in a web of political expediency. Are we destroying our motherland?How can we ever call us a Democracy? We prove Winston Churchill right \'the country is left to be governed by men of straw\. 3.The crime has since proliferated among the survivors of the voiolence- school dropouts,drug addicts/peddlars and now prostitution-events those did not come about after the mayhem of 1947! 4.I would like to contribute to any NGO/other body financially to help affected childern.Is there an address/es? Perhaps in the next edition of the book a list of donor/help organisations and address will be usefull.
